A place where youth can be excited and energized to esteem themselves to explore, experiment and engage in learning through a creative camp experience here at H & S.
H & S Learning Center welcomes you to another exciting year of H & S Summer Day Camp. We are dedicated to keeping our children active and participating by incorporating child choice and voice in all our program activities. H & S offers playful opportunities for children ages 5 to 15* this summer. We offer sports of all sorts, dance, martial arts, basketball, soccer, tap dance, hula hoop exercise, project-based learning (PBL), cooking science, computer, games galore, arts and crafts, performance arts, and health, trips/outings once a week, swimming two to three times a week, wellness and fitness. Also, we make it our priority to take youth and parents special academic interests into consideration with enrichment activities such as literacy leap, lets read math, real-life math, science discovery in the world all around us and creative writing and journaling about their daily experiences here at H & S.
Summer Day Camp Trips
Summer day campers go weekly on field trips.
Parents are welcome to help as chaperones.
Please notify the director in advance.
Transportation is provided by Yellowbird bus company.
This cost is included in the camp weekly fee of $120 or CCIS families. Sliding Scale Participants pay for additional weekly trip cost with weekly co-pay fee agreement.

PBL: “Explore and Expand S.T. E. A. M." ages (5 to 10)+ "Discovering Hobbies and Talents" (ages 11 to 13)
Based Learning often referred to (PBL) is an instructional approach built upon authentic learning activities that engage student interest and motivation. PBL teaches students 21st century skills as well as content. These skills include communication and presentation skills, organization and time management skills, research and inquiry skills, self-assessment and reflection skills, and group participation and leadership skills.
Our PBL summer project is titled “Explore and Expand STEAM” Littles and Middles group campers will spend time learning and exploring science, technology, engineering, Arts and Math which includes and array of activities. The Bigs group campers will learn the importance of Identifying hobbies and talents which could evolve into a career and or business. In closing Youth will showcase their learnings and host a culminating event exhibit to invite friends and families to enjoy.
