H & S says a Special Thank you to Penn Treaty SSD!

H & S Learning Center was awarded a Penn Treaty Grant for Our Community Garden Project
at John Moffet School Summer 2015

The Penn Treaty grant has met our expectations, which are to expose and teach our children the mechanics of growing a garden, how it is important towards maintaining a healthy environment and how a garden can be used for charitable support. We are pleased that our partner, the John Moffett Elementary School, principal Carmen Maldanado-Narvarro has embraced the garden project and us by allowing us to use their schoolyard space for our urban garden project.
